My name is Don Varda and I am an independent film director. Not so long ago we were shooting a short film based on the true events of Belle Gunness. We were honored to have Hollywood actor Art LaFleur (Field of Dreams, The Santa Clause) star in our film.

Our idea was to show it around Hollywood to generate interest before we shot the full feature length film. Meanwhile, DreamWorks was launching "On the Lot," a FOX television show that was accepting short films from aspiring filmmakers. We quickly edited a five minute version of our film and submitted it. The response was tremendous. Nearly 12,000 people watched the film in a matter of days. It was the most watched and talked about film on the website for almost a week. The reviews were nearly all 5 Stars. The core message from fans was the same – "We Want More." That is the reason I started this site.
